MonkeyThunk LLC builds live music and recording gear, software and hardware, that turns your guitar, voice and controllers into instruments that respond to how you play. Everything below is in development.

What we're building

Morpherator (in development)

A live-performance engine for guitar rigs, synth sounds and recording. It morphs between sounds in real time, plays synths from your guitar, lets your voice shape the sound, splits imported songs into parts and stems, and works alongside the amp modeler or audio interface you already own.

MonkeyThunk Companion for Mac and iPad (in development)

Build and play your rigs, presets and songs, with Thunker, a built-in voice assistant.

MTcontrol for iPhone (in development)

A free MIDI controller app with keys, an XY pad and motion control.

StageWedge (in design)

A pressure-sensitive foot controller.

About

Our mission: build the live music and recording gear I've always wanted, for guitar rigs, synth sounds and recording, with new sounds, new ways to play, and less menu-diving.

I'm a musician and engineer. For years the sounds in my head were easy to imagine and hard to actually play. So I started building the tools myself.
